The 2026 edition of GIRLSTEAM will take place on 23 April, at Técnico – Oeiras Campus, and it is designed for basic and secondary school students.

This event is part of the celebrations of the International Girls in ICT Day, promoted by the International Telecommunication Union (ITU), with the aims of encouraging and empowering young girls and women to pursue studies and careers in fields related to Information and Communication Technology (ICT).

Throughout the day, hands-on activities will be organised between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. in the main atrium of Oeiras campus.
